I'm not sure, but it turned out that I could fix it by simply unplugging and 
replugging in my modum ... Not an ubuntu issue after all.

Bug description:
  Yesterday, I was able to connect to my wireless, but would be kicked
  off shortly after connecting. Sometimes I was able to reconnect after
  restarting the computer. Today, I can't connect at all.
