Title:
Feature-Request | Improve Ubuntu-Software-Center history view with a
dynamic graph
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
I hope the Launchpad bug function is supposed to be used for feature-request
aswell - if not - sorry ;)
##
Ubuntu-Software-Center offers a lovely view on the install history ...i.e.
all-changes, installations, updates and removals.
For all 4 categories it offers dates & package-names already.
At that point it would be awesome to offer an additional view to the
apt-history -> a graph.
This graph could be dynamic in terms of timetime and informations to show
i.e.
* show graph for all installations in the last 5 month
* show graph for all changes in the last year
* show graph for all installations & updates in the last 7 days
Sounds like eye-candy - and it surely is - but i bet overall it would
offer an additional view which might be easier for users to filter &
understand what happened & when.
