Title:
Sometimes unable to Alt-Tab between Terminal and Web Browser
Status in Unity:
Expired
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Occasionally I am unable to alt-tab between, say, the web browser that
I am typing in now, and a terminal window I have open. Both web
browser & terminal are full screen (as is the unity default). Both
have more than 1 tab open.
Usually if I am 'in' the terminal, and alt-tab, I can bring up the web
browser, and can then alt-tab back and forward a few time. However
after a while 'in' the web browser, I press alt-tab and the LHS dock
pops up and the terminal icon wiggles a bit. However the web browser
is still taking up all the screen and the focus and is on top of the
terminal. This essentially means I cannot switch active window. If I
press alt-tab now it only repeats this (i.e. wigglying icon in dock).
The only way to bring up the terminal is to move my mouse over to the
dock & press the icon.
