I can no longer repro this with 0.12.2-0ubuntu2. The upstream bug was
also closed 7 months ago as non-repro so I think this has been fixed.

Bug description:
This is an Oneiric-specific bug, originally reported upstream at
http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/3948:
1. Select a photo and press F11 to enter fullscreen mode.
2. Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. The toolbar should
appear, but usually it will not.
Occasionally the toolbar will actually appear in step 2. If that
happens, press F11 to exit fullscreen mode, then F11 to enter it
again. The toolbar will fail to appear the second time around.
