Title:
Issues with Ubuntu Software Center
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Some of the things I observed Ubuntu Software Center
a) After a fresh install of 12.04
b) Tried to install google chrome (downloaded deb package)
c) Install of any other app didnt happen since update manager started the work
I could see update started "downloading only " and it stalled all
other entire installation. Ideally download and installation are
separate. If download is happening , it should allow others apps to
get installed.
Expected behavior
It should work like Android phone.
Multiple download can happen (from multiple sources) , and install /upgrade
should be queued .
