Color from gnome-control-center does nothing when pressed Calibrate
button

Bug description:
I try to calibrate my monitor using a i1Display LT using the Color
configuration app from the gnome-control-center. The Calibrate...button is
disabled until I connect the device, that becomes enabled. But then when
pressed does nothing. No action, no error message, nothing.
If I launch the app from a terminal I get the following error when the button
is pressed:

I'm using a fresh install of ubuntu Precise Pangolin completely
updated.
