Considering that the antenna is internal to the wireless USB adapter I
highly doubt that is the issue. Could have a look to see if the USB
connection is a bit loose. Might try connecting the adapter to a front
USB port to see if that makes any difference.

Bug description:
  Every wireless network connection made is disconnected at a random
  time for no clear reason at all. Another issue that may be related is
  that DNS is randomly cut off with no clear reason as to why it occurs,
  although it occurs less frequently than the issue described above.
  Using TP-Link TL-WN321G with Ubuntu 12.04. This is a serious issue as
  it nearly makes it impossible to do anything over a wireless LAN (incl
  using the Internet).
