Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: all browsers dont have sound, applications do have sound, while testing OpenShot Video Editor i found out that also there videos that i created dont have sound. so here the Answers: (1) Do you get sound in other applications, or do you have no sound at all on your Oneiric system? Only browsers and OpenShot Video editor have no sound on output. (2) Are you using Firefox, or some other browser? Firefox and Chromium (3) Does the problem occur in another web browser? (If you are using Firefox, you could try Chromium, which you can get by installing the package called chromium-browser in the Software Center.) All other browsers. (4) Does the problem occur in another user account? If you only have one user account, you can create a second one for testing purposes.
