unity launcher Super+<n> hints get stuck

Bug description:
Several times I have managed to trigger the Super+<n> shortcut hints
(white numbers on a small black square) to stay on permenatly.
Currently I have them constantly shown on my left launcher. The other
launcher is unaffected. They survive being scrolled off and back on
with the launcher (which is in autohide mode).
