Title:
Nautilus Dynamic Quicklist dissapears when we disable Desktop icons
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Hi everybody, when we disable "Show desktop icons" in Unity, Nautilus's
dynamic quicklist doesn't work. But if we enable "Show desktop icons"
Nautilus's dynamic quicklist works again.
This should not happen. Nautilus's dynamic quicklist should be there always..
There is another situation: if I disable the Show desktop icons option and I
have one or more Nautilus's windows open, then Nautilus's quicklist works
again, and if I close all of those Nautilus's windows the Nautilus's Quicklist
doesn't work again.
Nautilus's dynamic quicklist should be there always too.
Steps to see the bug
1) Log in, open Ubuntu Tweak, then disable "Show desktop icons" option(be
sure that theres is not any Nautilus's window open),
2) Right clic in the Nautilus icon in Launcher(you should see that Nautilus's
dunamic quicklist is not working).
In the other hand:
1) Log in, open Ubuntu Tweak, then enable "Show desktop icons" and show
should see that Nautilus's dynamic quicklist is working again.
This is a bug.
Sorry about my English. I have attached some images to better undesrstanding
