Bug description:
i've encountered this several times now in software-center, that
installing applications will cause the Unity launcher to crash. the
specific applications that have caused this are "Lord of Ultima" and
"Braid". the observed behavior is that the launcher becomes stuck
visible, and overlays any maximized windows (see attached screenshot).
i'm not sure whether the bug is in software-center or in unity
launcher, so i'm marking both affected and will try to collect apport
report for both.
