This bug was fixed in the package gnome-desktop3 - 3.5.2-0ubuntu2
---------------
gnome-desktop3 (3.5.2-0ubuntu2) quantal; urgency=low
* 02_refuse_to_break_GL_compositors.patch:
check_gl_texture_size wasn't installed anymore because of two
libexec_PROGRAMS in the same Makefile.am. This caused
gnome-settings-daemon to timeout as it couldn't get MAX_GL_TEXTURE
anymore and so, no theme, no integrated appmenu, long log in.
