I've had this too, but never had the presence of mind to catch it at the
time. Thanks for capturing it.

Title:
  Desktop visible on lock screen

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I have found this problem a number of times and the only pattern I can
seem to find is that I have to lock the system a number of times
before the bug appears. The locking of the screen does not have to be
manual as today my laptop has only been locked automatically and the
  bug re-appeared.

Basically when I move the mouse/press a key to wake the screen the
lock screen appears but my desktop is visible in the background. The
program I left open does not appear to be visible however. The photos
show the lock screen and what the screen shows after the screen is
  unlocked.
