Title:
gnome-panel does not hide after full screen app

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I created a gnome-panel on the left side of my screen, put some icons on it
and set it to auto-hide. One of the applications present on that panel is
aisle-riot solitaire which is set to open in full screen mode. After completing
and winning a game, it is possible to directly close this application from
within the full-screen mode, bringing back the desktop or other open
applications, together with the visible left panel. I presume it is still
visible because somehow no time has elapsed since solitaire directly opened in
full-screen. However, once it becomes visible again, it seems normal to me the
panel would auto-hide after a brief period of time. None of the kind: the panel
remains visible (see screenshot) thus hiding part of the desktop or new current
application. The panel does hide itself after I briefly point to it with the
mousecursor.
  I am using10.10 Maverick with kernel 2.6.35-24-generic
  Aisle riot is version 2.32.0
  Gnome-panel is version 1:2.30.2-1ubuntu3

I admit this is a very low priority bug...
