Title:
Maximized windows still use appmenu-esque window buttons

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Opinion

Bug description:
As per the question I asked here
  (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+question/195447)
even after uninstalling appmenu and all related packages a maximized
window still places its close, min and max buttons in the top-left of
the screen right where appmenu used to place the menus. My
understanding is that this shouldn't be the case and that it should
maintain window decoration as per the non-maximized window. I believe
  this is a bug.

Please let me know if there is any more information I can provide to
  help.
