Title:
tooltips only appear on mousing over text

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
This is in relation to bug #874430.
Tooltips appear for titles on the What's New and Top Rated sections of the
front page of the USC. This is useful for truncated titles. However, these
tooltips appear only when mousing over the text, not over the icon of the
application or the empty portion of the tile occupied by the application in
question. This requires users aim carefully in order to get a tooltip and is
unnecessarily hard. I request this be rectified. Thank you.
