Thank you for your bug report, is the issue specific to the touch
screen? The touch devices don't act the same way as normal input devices
... what happen if you use double click and keep your finger over an
icon?

Title:
single-clieck mode broken in icon mode (but not list mode)

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
if i set to single-click to open in nautilus (im trying to use
nautilus on a touch screen) then i can't open items at all wen in icon
mode. If i set list mode, then everything works as expected (with
  single-click to open)

I currently have removed overlay scrollbars, but since i discovered
flick scroling, will likely turn them back on. It sure would be nice
  if they wre gtk/wayland clean.
