Title:
launcher doesn't take focus after clicking applications button

Status in Unity:
  Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unity

I have an intermittent bug in natty unity:

1- click the (+) applications button
2- sometimes, the search window appears, but greyed out, and with all
launcher buttons greyed out too. typing causes icons to be selected on the
desktop rather than characters to appear in the search field, or sends those
keypresses to whatever other application previously had focus. clicking on the
search field doesn't help. clicking outside has no effect either. clicking on
a launcher button dismisses the window.

This doesn't happen all the time, but about 10-20% of the time. I
don't know how to reproduce it on demand.
