Bug description:
remix 10.04 installed as wubi
no DHCP
configured eth0 with DNS IP-adresses, but no DNS available for IP-traffic.
I found a work-around :
in /etc/network/interfaces add eth0 to the auto-line
and
make interfaces managed by changing
/etc/NetworkManager/nm-system-settings.conf, set
managed=true under the ifupdown-section
then restart.
(The doc says that you should run killall nm-system-settings, but that
doesn't work.)
