NM does configure both interfaces. That's fine.
If you can't print then there is a problem without the routing table.
You should add the needed routing information under Edit Connections.

Bug description:
Wired ethernet connection does not work on Hardy when Wireless
connection available. This is on Dell Inspiron with working Broadcom
card. Wired option is not shown when Network Manager applet invoked.
Whem Manual Configuration selected, Wired is shown with previously
working parameters for Static connection.
