Try starting rhythmbox from the terminal (with -d switch) and post the output. 
rhythmbox -d

Also, it is possible to start rhythmbox with plugins disabled:
rhythmbox --disable-plugins -d

  rhytmbox is no more starting

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  i worked on the rhythmbox to get all internetradiostations to the start as i 
want them to.
  After clicking a checkbox in the menu (sthg with plugins) the rhytmbox 
started a updating process and is not to be opend again.
  so i click on the rhythmbox icon an my startpanel and nothing happens....

  what can i do to get the old settings back?
