Title:
Network manager reports wrong ethernet speed
Status in NetworkManager:
Fix Released
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
After using ethtool to force the speed of eth0 back to 10 mbps on my
realtek rtl8169 network-manager still says it is running at 100 mbps
even though both ethtool and mii-tool say it is running at 10, and the
led on my hub has changed to orange, which also indicates the link
speed is only 10.
