This bug report isn't exactly a duplicate of 966189 although it's similar.
bug #966189 refers to the problem where "waiting to install" appears during
the installation
this bug is that "waiting to install" appears even after the installation has
completed and even if the program has been opened.

Bug description:
After installing IDLE (using Python-3.2) from the software center, the
icon appears in my launcher, but when I mouse over it, it says
"Waiting to install"
