you can do that by hand I guess, right click on the chromium window
border and select 'use system title bars and borders' Its more of a
chromium bug than unity.

Title:
Chrome/Chromium browsers have their toolbox pushed to the left and
there is a globalmenu just on top of them

Status in Unity:
  Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Google Chrome browser and Chromium browser have their toolbar in their
titlebar and there is also a globalmenu created for them in ubuntu.
Due to the 'toolbox on the left hand side' decision made by Ubuntu,
the toolbox is moved to the left as a part of the global menu. But
with these browsers, their titlebar toolboxes also get moved to the
top left. This means there are 2 toolboxes one below one. Also the
moving of the chrome's inbuilt toolbox pushes the first tab to the
right and hence the number of visible tabs reduces. The solution will
be to remove either of the toolboxes if possible or at least move the
chrome's inbuilt toolbox to the right. Since chrome is not directly
available in ubuntu repos, the changes should at least be done in
  chromium browser.
