pull down tab, firefox takes over mouse focus

Bug description:
If I pull down a tab (to open it out to a new window) then I never get
my mouse pointer back; it retains the pull-down pointer and I cannot
use it for anything. I can alt-tab to a terminal and kill firefox,
though, at which point it returns to normal.
