Title:
The screen doesn't seems to refresh

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When using the program in various situations sometimes the screen
doesn't refresh, for example, you click on Reply and nothing seems to
happen but actually, when you move the mouse over the screen, the
place where the pointer is get refreshed with the new screen, if you
minimize and maximize back again you find the screen refreshed as it
  should have from the beginning.

Found that in Firefox as well, but seems to happen more often in
Thunderbird. I had problems with NVidia card, the update that came
through the Update Manager didn't work so I had to download the full
driver from NVIdia site and install it manually, don't know if that
has anything to do with it.

  Good luck!
