Title:
The "vlan" package vlan is missing from the installation ISO, making
installation difficult for customers of Deutsche Telekom

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  That's my 2nd try *sigh*:
After installing natty from the 64 bit desktop ISO I couldn't get net access
because the package vlan is missing. In Germany you need in networks of
Deutsche Telekom VLAN 7 (when you use a VDSL modem like me, I don't want to use
a router) for internet access. This is only possible with the vconfig command
which is part of the vlan package. Please add it to new desktop ISOs!
