stuck hand cursor

Bug description:
on selecting a bookmark sometimes at random the target isnt selected -
the cursor changes to a hand permanently rendering any use of the
cursor in all other applications and the desktop useless - doesnt
register click events any more. Either must logout using ctrl-alt-del
- shortcuts still work - or alt-4 close firefox - cursor changes back
to normal and normal service is resumed.
