Title:
cannot configure machine to suspend below a battery threshold

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The power configuration view allows me to configure the machine to
suspend after an inactivity period, but it does not allow me to
configure the machine to suspend when it falls bellow a certain
  remaining charge threshold.

The problem is all the more frustrating because hibernate doesn't seem
to work at all, meaning I have to keep a very close eye on the battery
status in order to not lose data.
