Is this persistent, or does it go away with a reboot? Also, which theme
are you using?

Title:
Indicators for Sound, Network, Status are too dim against black panel
Status in Indicator Applet:
New
Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Just installed 12.04. Hate Unity, so am using Gnome Classic. Top
Panel color is black. The time and user indicators look fine, in
light grey. However, network, sound, and "status" (I guess) are way
too dark. This should be an easy one, right?
Thanks!
