Hi Redmar, and thank you for your suggestion. I have set this as a
wishlist item so that we can track it when planning/implementing
enhancements and new features. I have also set it as triaged since I
think we have enough information to move to the next step, which is to
do the detailed UI design.
Many thanks for your help!

Title:
Showing localised reviews also shows English ones
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Problem:
Software center shows reviews in English, even if only localised ones are
selected (ie not showing reviews for all languages)
Example: dutch (nl) reviews for nexuiz contain some reviews written in
English.
My guess would be that some people mistakenly submit English reviews
for their native language. This should be easy to check on the server
side.
Proposed solution:
I don't have any statistics on this (server side should have them) but I will
assume that the most common error is English translations submitted as another
language.
Option one: Spellcheck each review on the client side against English:
if it contains less the $threshold misspelled words, pop up a warning
to ask the reviewer if she's sure she wants to submit that review for
that language, instead of for English.
Option two: Do the same thing, but on the server side. If it passed
the threshold, there should be some kind of follow up step to decide
what to do with that review. For example have a human look at it to
determine if it's really English, and then move the review to the
English list.
