Title:
jockey-kde crashed with DBusException in
dbus_sync_call_signal_wrapper()
Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: jockey-kde
what i did before the jocket-kde crash report was starting:
i changed my video card from Riva TNT2/M64 16 MB which ran in vesa mode to a
Asus V8170Pro with 64 MB;
after new start, system gave the info for a special proprietary Nvidia driver
Version 90 to install; i pushed the button in the shown hardwaredriver dialog
to activate them; a dialog with download bar was shown, but stays on 0 %
downloading;
so i left my computer for a while; when i came back - the crash-report dialog
"jockey-kde" was shown; the download bar dialog was not shown nomore - only the
"Hardwaredriver" dialog itself.
Kubuntu 8.10 in use;
jockey-kde:
Installiert: 0.5~beta3-0ubuntu6.1
a new Nvidia-x-setting icon is shown under system-menu, but nvidia
driver is not active (see NoNvidia1.png file)
