Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
The problem happens on Ubuntu 10.04 with a custom network-manager
/modem-manager snapshot based on upstream 0.8.1 branch. When booting
the T61 with built in Sierra 3G modem, at times the network connection
via 3G does not work properly. NetworkManager reports that the device
is activated, but resolv.conf contains the standard nameservers and no
network traffic is happening.
When disconnecting from the 3G connection, NetworkManager crashes
completely. After a restart (sudo stop network-manager; sudo start
network-manager), the connection can be established and all works
fine.
