Title:
Intel WiFi connection stops working under load with wpa2

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

Whenever I transfer a lot of data (typically FTP), the wireless
connection randomly dies. It doesn't drop, the system still thinks the
connection is fine, but there is simply no further data coming in. At
that point, I have to go to the wireless drop-down menu and select the
same connection that I'm already connected to. That resets the
connection and everything is fine. However, this bug makes
transferring bigger (or multiple) files near impossible since it
constantly happens - it happened about 5 times in the last 30 minutes.
On days when I don't transfer a lot of data, I rarely have problems.

This is a Sony VAIO VPCS111FM. This bug is similar to 473502, but I decided
to open a new one since this is a different chipset.
This is Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, with 2.6.32-24-generic (had this problem on all
kernels since 10.4 came out).

Apologies if this bug is a dupe, but the existing WiFi bugs seemed related,
but not identical.
