After laptop comes out of suspension, Thunderbird is unable to connect
to mail server and must be rebooted.

Bug description:
Whenever my Toshiba Satellite L655 laptop running 11.10 is suspended
with Thunderbird 10.0.2-build1 running and then brought out of
suspension, Thunderbird is unable to connect to the mail server (in
this case gmail.com). The error message is "Failed to connect to mail
server." Restarting the application resolves the issue.
