Title:
Confusing message when connecting first network interface
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
If a computer has no network interfaces (excepting lo0) at boot time,
and a user connects a USB ethernet adaptor, network-manager provides
the confusing response "Network has been disconnected" whilst trying
to connect to the now present wired interface.
This should say something like "New network interface available" or
"Network has been connected".
