Title:
NetworkManager should manage proxy settings
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
I use a laptop between a location that has an authenticated proxy and
other locations that don't. I think it would be ideal that
knetworkmanager should have an option to associate specific proxy
settings to different networks, including username and password so a
user doesn't have to keep going into KDE network settings and change
the proxy.
