According to the file(1) utility: evil-2336-6467_c39e.gif: GIF image data, version 89a, 20000 x 8880 Also, GIMP manages to open the file, showing 42 transparent frames of size 20000 x 8880, except the first frame, which is completely black. KolourPaint, the Windows Explorer and the Windows Internet Explorer display the file as a 44x44 pixel image, which I suppose is the correct size. However, also the GNOME file open dialog displayes the first frame from the file correctly.
