Hello, thank you for reporting this bug and help make Ubuntu better. >From what I understand you are unable to change the monitor sleep time from 1 >minute to 5 minutes in the System settings > Brightness and lock > Turn screen >off when inactive for [...]. Is the drop down list grey? I have also noticed your report about the problem with evolution. There is no need to mention bug reports that are not related.
