Title:
iphone 3gs USB tethering does not work
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I have noticed that ubuntu as of now has no support for native iphone
tethering, adding support for this would be very useful especially
since a large amount of linux computers are now netbooks, which often
have a need for mobile internet. Currently the only way to tether is
to either jailbreak and share the wifi or to use use bluetooth, which
is far from straight forward.
