Title:
Please add new sub-menu "Set default connection" in nm-applet menu
with the current active connections, so that default route+DNS can be
  changed easily

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

With it, we can have more flexible handling of several connections at
once as well as prevent the confusion that lead to the reporting of
  bug #278485, bug #360594 and bug #175326

By judging of the syslog message "Policy set 'Connection name'
(interface) as default for routing and DNS. ", this feature is already
implemented in network manager and this bug should be easily fixable
by adding the menu and assign the appropriate instructions to the nm
  deamon - no?
