Title:
HP un2420 Mobile Broadband Module not found by gnome-networkmanager
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Release: 10.04
Problem: HP un2420 Mobile Broadband module is not found by gnome-
networkmanager.
More info:
I am using an HP mini 2102. The 3g chip is built in but looks like a
usb device. I am attaching the output of lsusb -vvv, lshw, and dmesg.
I believe it is necessary to install firmware in order to make it
work. I am hoping this can be setup using jockey and downloading the
firmware from Qualcomm's site. If you need any more information,
please post a comment.
