Network Manager doesn't connect to hidden wifi network

Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I set up wireless network at home. I want to hide my network, but
network-manager connects 2 times for about 30 trials to router with hidden
ssid. My phone connects to router without any problems. When I turn on ssid
broadcasting then network-manager quickly connects to my wifi network.
System: Ubuntu 10.10.
