I have experiencing this problem with Ubuntu 12.04 and evince 3.4.0 The preview shows the correct page with no additional margins, but the final print, always scale te pageto about a 96.8% I have exactly the same problem with ePDFViewer, version 0.1.8, so I am not sure if the problem is on evince or maybe in some shared library.
Right now, the only solution for me if I want to print documents with the real dimensions is to use Adobe Reader. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472767 Title: Unable to print pdf files in full page scale Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: evince 1) Ubuntu 9.10 2) package 2.28.1-0ubuntu1 3) When I print PDF files, I expect them to be printed as I see them, keeping the page scale visibleon screen. 4) By default, evince print with an additional margin and then with a lower scale. Okular print it the same scale as what I see on my screen so it is evince that send the wrong scale at the printer. Furthermore, when a print preview is displayed, the additional margin is clearly visible. I looked for a specific printing option to ask for a full page scale but none of that exist yet.
