Title:
gnome-control-center takes 100% CPU
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 Alpha 2
unity 5.4.0
gnome-control-center 1:3.3.90-0ubuntu1
When I have the GNOME Control Center open, I have soaring CPU usage by
it - constantly at 100% according to top, and my computer's fan runs
wild when it's open. I'm not sure why, but I would assume that, if
idle, it should not do anything and have near 0% CPU usage.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Appearance settings
2) Open a terminal
3) run 'top' and see if gnome-control-center is taking tons of CPU
