Hi again davetto71, and thank you for your report. Unfortunately,
there's nothing in the log information that indicates the issue that you
are seeing. Usually when Software Center opens to a blank screen, it
indicates that another (usually crashed) instance of Software Center is
already running. The most straightforward way to resolve this is to
reboot your machine.
So, could you please try rebooting, then launch software-center again
from a terminal? Please let us know if you see the same blank screen,
and attach the terminal output if there is anything different to the
above.

software center not load apps
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Software center when launched open an empty windows in the middle of
the screen. Then it's impossible to close the app (I must kill it).
If I start SC within a terminal window I get the following messages.

I tryed to re-install the package, but that hasn't solved the problem.
