Hi Tim, and thanks for your report. I can't seem to reproduce the issue
that you describe. IntelliJ has installed fine for me just now.
So that we can try to gather more information to help us to debug this
issue, could you please try running Software Center from a terminal
window as follows:
$ software-center
Then follow the steps to reproduce the issue, and finally please paste
any output in the terminal to this bug report.
I know that you have likely already installed IntelliJ from a deb, but
if you get a chance this stacktrace could be helpful to us, as would an
update about whether you still encounter this issue when you try.
Finally, we are working on improving the experience with apps priced at
$0.00. We agree that it's not optimal at all.
Thanks! Your help is much appreciated!

Title:
Trying to install IntelliJ for $0.00 loops on brand new 12.04 install
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Title says it all: a brand new install of 12.04 - not an upgrade from
anything - and when I try to install IntelliJ for $0.00, not only does
it insist that I sign in to 'buy' it (which is stupid) but it sits
there looping with this message and a spinner:
Processing your request for “IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition”…
Information received
Not very informative. Hopefully it'll make sense to you. I'm off to
download it from IntelliJ and install it normally.
Perhaps things costing $0.00 shouldn't have to go through the sso
nonsense too?
