Title:
REGRESSION: NetworkManager unable to connect to WPA Enterprise
  networks

Status in NetworkManager:
  Expired
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

Since the 0.7.0 included in intrepid, I have been unable to connect to a WPA2
Enterprise/PEAP network, and others have reported not being able to connect to
other types of WPA/WPA2 Enterprise networks. The option to enter a user
certificate has been removed, and others are reporting that they are being
dropped back at the authentication screen. There are corresponding bugs in
upstream and Red Hat bugzilla here:
  https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=388471
  http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=560398

The bug seems to have been fixed in the Red Hat bugzilla, and probably
also upstream, so the question is whether the fix has been included in
Ubuntu yet? And is there someone who is willing to take the time to
package a patched version for intrepid (fixing this blocking problem
for everyone using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduroam networks on
European universities and all other places using WPA Enterprise)?
