Update:

It's connected to Firefox (Firefox 13.0.1). It's only happening when
Firefox is open.

Title:
Things are turning partly transparent in Ubuntu 12.04

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I have Ubuntu 12.04 with Xfce desktop.

Sometimes things are turning partly transparent. Parts of windows, web
pages, fonts. Sometimes it just involves a small amount and other
times it can be an area 3x5" (approx) in size. There seems to be no
pattern to when or where it does it. If it's appearing on the web I
can refresh the page and it'll stop.

It doesn't do it all time but comes and goes.

I couldn't get a screen shot of it unfortunately.

It didn't start right away after installing 12.04. It started a while
  later.
