Title:
Too many network OSD notifications when resuming from sleep

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

When the system resumes from sleep Network Manager shut down the
connection and tries to reconnect to the wifi network. In the mean
time it will notify, via ODS, that the network is down. It will notify
  this more than once.

My opinion is that, when resuming from sleep, Network Manager should
not notify of the disconnection without first trying to reconnect.
And, in any case, it should not notify the user of the disconnection
  more than once.

  Karmic LiveCD (20090917.1).
